There has been plenty of research proving the many mental and physical benefits from participating in physical activities.

Activity will boost your mood and provide you with a distraction from your daily stresses. During your activity practice focusing on everything you’re feeling and hearing; the edge of your skis carving on freshly groomed snow or how the sun warms your skin through cold winter temperatures while winter cycling. Combine your winter fitness with socializing by joining us on one of our demo days. You will find renewed energy, confidence, better sleep and commitment to bettering yourself.

Buying bicyles continues to increase in complexity. Where do you ride? Do you want Aluminium or Carbon? What wheel size do you need 27.5” or 29”? In January we will talk about 27.5 Plus bikes; which you may or may not have heard talk about. As simply as we can, it is 27.5” wheel with a tire width that ranges from 2.8” – 3.0”. There are build changes and wider wheels required to accommodate the wider tires, but that’s a different newsletter all together. Lets for now, simply talk to the benefits of a 27.5 plus bike. Just about every company offers a 27.5 Plus bike now. We have Cannondale Cujos, Rocky Mountain Growlers and Specialized offers many models and women’s specific frames. Now why would you consider a 27.5 Plus bike?
The benefits of 27.5 Plus bikes covers all abilities of riders. The wider tire provides extra stability. Giving beginner riders more confidence on loose or off camber trail sections. Experienced riders can go hard into descending corners knowing they are getting extra grip and stability. And say goodbye to annoying tire spin climbing hills. The larger volume tires allow you too run super low air pressure. That lower air pressure gives that grip while providing awesome small bump compliance on your hard tail frame.
