Every year at the Canada Day Celebration, we feature food from a variety of Central Alberta's many cultural organizations! There are so many delicious foods on the menu, we just had to share a couple from each booth. ACFA- maple pudding cake. Red Deer Afghan Canadian Association- shami kabobs, chicken kabobs. A complete parking ban is being imposed for the Great Chief Park & Bower Ponds area during the Canada Day Celebrations on Sunday, July 1st. In order to manage traffic flow the following roads will be closed.
July 1st at 8:00 am to July 2nd at 1:00 am- Kerry Wood Drive from Oak Drive to Taylor Drive. *No left hand turns will be permitted off of Taylor Drive from 10:30 pm until after the completion of the event.*
